Yi-Fan Chen is a composer for games and media, currently serving as Lead Composer at Bolero Game Studio. She specializes in creating emotionally driven and immersive music for narrative and gameplay experiences.

Her work spans film, television, and video games across the U.S., Australia, and Asia. After earning her Master’s degree in Screen Scoring from New York University, Yi-Fan expanded into the global game development space, composing for titles including The Real Face of a VTuber, Cyber Paradise, and Carsh. As the winner of the 2023 NYU Steinhardt Film Scoring Composition Competition, Yi-Fan collaborated with Director Chris Del Río Solorzano on the film 'PREY.' The work premiered by the NYU Symphony Orchestra at Symphony Space. In addition, the score was honored as 'The Best Student Orchestral Score' at the 2024 Garden State Film Festival (GSFF).

Perpetual Motion

'Perpetual Motion' draws inspiration from the film 'Petya of My Petya,' crafted in a minimalist style and recorded by the Budapest Symphony Orchestra.
